Albuquerque, NM – November 5, 2020 – WiseChoice Foods LLC announced today their advancement into the finals of the MBE Idol 2020 competition developed by the minority business certifying agency, Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council (SMSDC), a regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). WiseChoice Foods is showcasing the recent development and launch of the WisePies Pizza brand as a clean-label frozen pizza line with recent successes earning sought-after frozen shelf space in major retailers across 10 states in more than 550 grocery store locations.
MBE Idol 2020 is a 5-minute pitch competition where SMSDC’s certified minority business enterprises will pitch their business via a virtual platform to a panel of SMSDC’s judges, who also serve as Local Corporate Members including Toyota North America and ConocoPhillips, gain valuable exposure and receive equally as valuable feedback.
WiseChoice Foods will participate in the final virtual competition hosted by Dell. The winner of MBE Idol 2020 will be invited to an exclusive meeting with a high level executive at Dell and gain valuable exposure through a feature addressed to the council membership as well as a speaking engagement at the SMSDC’s 2021 Stakeholder’s meeting.
