When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears.” Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins is such an inspiration. He often speaks to the individual being in control of the journey that destiny takes us on as our decisions pave the way to our goals. This quote resonated with me because it speaks directly to our company guiding principles – Gratitude. Passion. Growth.

And there are four key elements that I want to emphasize that will all tie back to the selected quote and to each other.

  1. Goals
  2. Decisions
  3. Learning
  4. Perfect is not perfect

From day one, I have set hefty goals that I never knew how we would or could achieve, but I was somewhat fearless and had the confidence and the drive to see it through. In the world of retail, you can plan and prepare until you are blue in the face and as soon as you know you’re completely ready, everything will change, and it’s back to square one. The COVID-19 shutdown is a great example; extreme, I know, but it gets the point across. I was also a bit naïve about the amount of work it would take. As our team worked, we continued to make decisions from a place of gratitude and positive thinking. This allowed us to maintain forward movement and also created learning opportunities from our imperfect execution of “new to us” processes. It’s important to note that I believe each member of our team (myself included) is perfect in their imperfection. As a team, we each offer such incredible and diverse experiences, perspectives and tools that we work best as a unit. If we strive to be “perfect,” rather than diligent and careful in the execution, I believe we will lose focus on the end game as well as miss additional opportunities.

Each expression of gratitude is, more often than not, met with positive energy and develops a new tie or partnership that could prove beneficial in the future. We have been grateful for each and every learning opportunity presented to us in our quest to provide an incredible, clean label frozen pizza product to the pizza lovers of the world. As we partner with new distributors, retailers and foodservice companies, we will continue to learn, grow and become a stronger and cohesive unit. We will remain fearless and grateful as we watch the abundance of opportunities appear.
